Onboard Communication System

The Onboard System enhances train communication, safety, and monitoring. It features a Driver HMI for communication with passengers, OCC, and station masters, along with Public Announcement and Passenger Information Systems to keep passengers informed. The system integrates with critical subsystems such as Radio Systems (TETRA/LTE), Automatic Train Protection for location identification, and a Door Warning System for safety.

Additionally, the system includes Onboard Video Surveillance for real-time monitoring and recording, ensuring security, and Passenger Help Points for emergency communication. This setup provides a comprehensive, efficient, and safe onboard environment for both passengers and operators.

The Train Captain / Crew Communication Interface provides a comprehensive communication system, including a touch-screen HMI-COMM for monitoring, voice communication, and manual announcements. It features soft push-button Crew Panels with audio and radio interfaces, along with passenger emergency intercoms (HPS).

The system integrates TETRA Radio and 4G GSM for direct communication between the train captain, crew, and the OCC, with escalation for emergency calls if the captain is busy. Additionally, live CCTV monitoring is available through touch-screen HMI-CCTV.
