Sensors and Transducers

An IoT sensor/ transducer is a device that can detect and measure changes in the physical world. The sensor attains a physical parameter and converts it into a signal suitable for processing (e.g. electrical, mechanical, optical) by the IoT Device/ RTU

Various types of sensors & transducers are used to capture critical parameters like Voltage/ Current/ Vibration/ Humidity/ Temperature etc of important assets like Signal, Point Machine, Track Circuit, Axle Counter, IPS, Cable, Relays etc.

Voltage Transducer AC/ DC

A voltage transducer measures DC or AC voltages and converts them into proportional analogue voltage signals. The transducer measures DC voltage from 0V DC to ±150V DC and AC voltage from 0VAC to 440VAC.

The analogue output signal of the Voltage transducers is fed to an ADC to convert it into digital form for further processing. It works on a 5V DC supply and produces an output voltage signal proportional to the input voltage to be measured. It features Galvanic Isolation which ensures high operational safety.
